This recipe will show you how to make guacamole. You can't go wrong with fresh guacamole on your dinner table. Guacamole is fresh, a bit garlicy, hint of salt, a hint of lime, and delicious. It will be a crowd pleaser and people will want more. It's easy to make and only contains fresh ingredients. This recipe is fresh, fresh, fresh, and delicious. The secret is you need fresh ripe and ready and not to ripe avocados. Avocados that give you a little squeeze. Not ones that are rock hard or squishy. It's an art form to go to the grocery store and bring home avocados that you are going to make guacamole the same day.

Fun fact avocados are biologically a fruit. And they are a super food that packs vitamin C, E, K, B6, Magnesium, Potassium, and Omega-3's.

Ingredients

6-7 Haas avocados (not to firm and not squishy)
1 Roma tomato
1/2 of red onion
1 bunch of cilantro
1/2 of lime
Salt
Pepper
Garlic
Fresh jalapeno diced (if you want to spice it up)

Instructions

Cut avocado in half long ways. Scoop out into mixing bowl. Toss the large seed. Hand mash your avocados. Finely dice, tomato, onion. No one wants a large bite of onion, or tomato. Texture is crucial in making quality guacamole. Use your kitchen shears and cut finely the cilantro into bowl. Cut about half of the bunch. Cut your lime in half and squeeze the lime into your mixture. Add your salt, pepper, and garlic powder to your mixture as well. I use Killer Hogs AP seasoning, in my opinion it is an excellent blend of salt, pepper, garlic. Sorry I am a BBQ guy and love Killer Hogs products. Combine all ingredients in your mixing bowl. Chill and serve.

Guacamole will last in fridge for about 3 or 4 days. Air is the enemy to fresh guac because it starts to oxidize and turn brown.
